We are working to ensure that new business relationships between the US and Sudan are prosperous, long-lasting and robust. Interface: We create platorms upon which a rich dialogue can be undertaken within all representatives of Sudanese civil society to encourage credible partnerships with US firms.
Incentivize: The strength of our network between the US and Sudan encourages firms to explore and exchange new commercial and cultural opportunities, and gives our members to tools to make partnerships successful.
Initiate: We believe that a strong private sector not only creates stability but instigates greater transparency and accountability, helping our members create long‐lasting, reliable and prosperous partnerships.
USSBC members will have access to a private login for a members-only section of the website. The website includes access to research and analysis on the U.S.-Sudan trade relationship, policy documents and a range of other reading materials and resources.
The USSBC offers both US and Sudanese companies a secure and trusted platform through which to invest and explore the fullest business and cultural dialogue. We are responsible for building and supporting partnerships between US and Sudanese companies to drive greater entrepreneurship, innovation, cultural exchange, knowledge transfer and sustainable development between both economies.

The USSBC facilitates and enables exclusive access to meetings and events, executive business intelligence and opportunities to leverage the influence and advocacy of the council’s founding members.

About Sudan
Sudan is Africa’s third largest country, has the seventeenth highest GDP per capita and an annual growth rate of which most developed markets would be envious. From the industrial district of Bahry to the crowded street markets on Alhoriya Street, Sudan’s thriving population of more than 40 million people are as richly entrepreneurial as they are culturally diverse.
Now is a particularly exciting time for Sudan. After more than two decades in economic isolation, trade sanctions have been universally lifted and the true potential of its business environment, cultural heritage and regional importance can be realized. In an economy that is already 1.5 times the size of Kenya’s, an ambitious generation of entrepreneurs, students and investors is ready to drive forward a new wave of prosperous, sustainable development.
At its center lies Khartoum: one of the most affluent and vibrant capital cites in East Africa, brought to life by a thriving urban centre and a rapidly‐diversifying economy. And despite two decades of isolation, Sudan has returned a consistent year-on-year rise within the World Bank’s ‘Ease of Doing Business’ report for the past 5 years, showing its resilience to unfavorable headwinds.
